Harry Mitchell for Congress

So The Arizona Republic has supported JD Hayworth for the last 5 elections. He is one of the farthest right, least civil rights friendly, most anti-worker, most anti-healthcare, and most anti-gay members of congress and still they have supported him. He has long been known as one of the most partisan members of congress, unwilling to support any compromise for the sake of the American people and still they supported him. No longer, today they came out and officially changed their support to Harry Mitchell for Arizona’s 5th district. Read about it here.

Harry Mitchell has long been a community leader starting as a city councilman of Tempe in the early 70s, moving to being the longest running mayor of Tempe where he over saw the revitalization of Mill Avenue making Tempe a city worth living in, and has since been a member of the State senate. During this long career he has always been known for reaching out to business and community leaders to find compromises and get things done that are best for ALL of his fellow citizens. In this day of partisan politics it is time to vote for someone who cares about all Americans and not just those in his party. It is time to vote for someone who will make compromises that will move our country forward in a positive direction. It is time to vote someone who will look out for new solutions to our problems and not only to seek a way to spin it

Go read more about Mitchell. Then go vote.
